Far Away

UDO contributed as an Audio Assistant on Caryl Churchill's Far Away, a site-specific production by the acclaimed Lost Text/Found Space, staged at Ambika P3.

The production combined theatre, spatial sound and sensory technologies to create an immersive audience experience, later receiving six Fringe Theatre Award nominations, including Best Sound.

Working alongside the production's sound team, UDO assisted with the implementation of the immersive audio system that underpinned the performance, gaining first-hand experience of how technical sound design can shape atmosphere, narrative and emotional engagement within live theatre.

The experience deepened his understanding of spatial audio as a storytelling medium, laying important foundations for the immersive sound environments developed in later projects such as Fear & Faith II.
