About the Artist

UDO headshot

Ugochukwu David Ogbuehi (UDO) is a London-based Nigerian creative technologist and immersive artist building the future of inclusive live performance. His practice fuses Unreal Engine, projection mapping, and sensory technology to transform musical events into mythic, narrative-driven experiences.

As a core member of the London-based multi-disciplinary collective TCMO (The Collective Members Only), UDO’s work is built on a formidable track record of producing and curating for major institutions, including the Southbank Centre (Meltdown Festival) and the Lewisham Borough of Culture.

His latest solo installation, Fear & Faith II, is a successful proof-of-concept for a new model of events accessible to d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences.

UDO is a visionary artist who uses technology not as a spectacle, but as a tool for empathy and connection.

Featured Work: Fear & Faith II (2025)

Fear & Faith II is an immersive audio-visual installation that explores themes of trauma and resilience through the mythic journey of a performing artist. Using four-wall projection mapping, Unreal Engine environments, and a powerful, bass-driven soundscape, the work translates a raw, personal narrative of recovery into a tangible, sensory experience.

While conceived with the ambition of integrating dedicated haptics for d/Deaf audiences, the installation successfully used environmental sub-bass to create a physical connection to the sound. The work stands as a successful proof-of-concept for a new kind of live event—one that is felt as much as it is heard

Quotes

"Mind blowing. An Emerson's experience inside a creative's dome"

“The advancement of haptic technology has been a game-changer for Deaf people. Tech like Woojer vests doesn’t just affect Deaf youngsters’ ability to enjoy music socially... but also allows them to understand, interact with, mix and create music in active ways.” -Troi Lee (Deaf Rave)

"An accomplished piece, blending music, film, and creative technologies to create ahybrid experience with genuine added value" - Dr Lucy Soutter (University of Westminster)
