Fear & Faith II is an immersive audio-visual installation that explores themes of trauma and resilience through the mythic journey of a performing artist. Using four-wall projection mapping, Unreal Engine environments, and a powerful, bass-driven soundscape, the work translates a raw, personal narrative of recovery into a tangible, sensory experience.

 

While conceived with the ambition of integrating dedicated haptics for d/Deaf audiences, the installation successfully used environmental sub-bass to create a physical connection to the sound. The work stands as a successful proof-of-concept for a new kind of live event—one that is felt as much as it is heard.
